This site is just a place for me to express some thoughts about what’s going on in my life.<\/p>\n

I’ve maintained a web presence since, oh, probably early 1996 or so. I think I’ve owned this domain since 1997 or 1998 though the Way Back Machine<\/a> only shows the site from around early 2001.<\/p>\n

Mostly I’m just playing around, keeping up with new technology, seeing what kinds of tools and interfaces are out there for people interacting over the web in various ways.\u00a0 I use this site mainly as a testbed for new ideas and to try out new services.\u00a0 Occasionally I’ll write about things that have caught my attention.<\/p>\n

I also maintain the site picsfromtrips<\/a> where I house photographs I’ve taken over the years.\u00a0 I really enjoy photography and I love what’s happened in the industry in the last decade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
